Watermelon Juice

Watermelon alone tastes good, but try it with freshly squeezed lime, basil, and mint, it will taste even better!
Prep time: 10 MCook time: Total time: 10 M

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Add watermelon to a large mixing bowl and blend with an immersion blender until there are no more chunks.
  2. In a separate large bowl add the basil and lime leaves and muddle together. Pour the watermelon juice through a sieve to separate from pulp. Add in the lime juice and stir to incorporate all flavors together.
  3. Pour the watermelon juice into a large carafe and refrigerate for an hour. You can also serve right away with some ice cubes.

Notes:

• If you don’t have an immersion blender you can use a regular blender. It tastes good with or without the pulp.
